Bachelor of Architecture

Design of the building is what architecture is mostly concerned with. The complicated issues of designing to accommodate human activity, issues of climate and energy, technology and structure, and combining the needs of the internal and external environment are addressed by architecture students.

Graduates are qualified to work in architecture as well as other fields of building and design. The School of Planning and Architecture’s curriculum is built around efficient and engaging instruction delivered by committed, knowledgeable faculty members whose academic backgrounds, real-world experience, and range of scholarly interests ensure thorough preparation for practising “real life architecture.” The faculty at the department of architecture are extremely skilled and knowledgeable, with areas of expertise in:

Course Structure:

The school offers a five-year, full-time B. Architecture degree programme. The curriculum is built around the principle of experiential learning. Students complete design projects throughout the semester, typically in relation to real-world scenarios on active websites. As much as feasible, the academic component of the course relates to the projects being worked on in the design studio. Continuous evaluation in design studios, written exams, group discussions, reviews, and juries for each topic of study are all used to keep track of students’ development. The programme contains pertinent courses covering principles, process technical specifics, and design practise, as well as electives in a subject of the student’s choosing. The coursework is set up to assist the student in understanding more intricate architectural facets that are crucial to building design, planning, and construction. It seeks to provide students with a high-quality education by fostering excellent communication skills and raising their awareness of constructed form in the context of modern architecture.
